Make the Most of Your Visit

Whether you’re attending your first ballet or returning for another unforgettable performance, we’re here to help you make the most of your visit to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

Come As You Are

Everyone is welcome at the ballet.

There is no dress code for RWB performances. Some patrons enjoy dressing up for a special night out, while others prefer a more casual approach. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to enjoy the performance.

Getting Here

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet performs at the Centennial Concert Hall, located at 555 Main Street in downtown Winnipeg, next to the Manitoba Museum.

We encourage patrons to arrive early to allow time for parking, finding their seats, and enjoying the pre-show atmosphere. Winnipeg Transit stops are conveniently located outside the theatre, and a traffic loop is available for passenger drop-off and pick-up.

If you’re driving, please allow extra time to find parking, particularly for evening and weekend performances.

For information about accessibility services and accommodations, please visit our FAQ page.

Parking

A heated underground parkade is available beneath the Centennial Concert Hall for ballet patrons.

Parking can be added during ticket purchase, and subscribers can pre-book parking at a discounted rate. We recommend reserving your spot early, as the parkade often fills before performances.

Additional parking options, including surface lots and metered street parking, are available throughout the Exchange District and Waterfront areas, all within a short walk of the theatre.

Before the Performance

Make your visit part of the experience.

Arrive early to enjoy refreshments from concession stands located throughout the Concert Hall, browse RWB merchandise, and capture a memory at our photo booth. Many performances also feature live music from an RWB pianist in the lobby before curtain.

Restrooms are conveniently located on both the main and second levels of the theatre.

During Intermission

Many productions include a brief intermission between acts.

Take the opportunity to stretch your legs, enjoy a beverage or snack, browse your program, visit the boutique, or simply reflect on the performance before the next act begins.
