Ballet in the Park brings together families, friends, and communities for three unforgettable evenings of free live dance under the prairie sky.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Assiniboine Park’s Lyric Theatre, this annual event invites everyone to experience the joy, beauty, and power of dance in a welcoming outdoor setting.
No tickets. No registration. Just bring a lawn chair, a blanket, and the people you love.

Enjoy an inspiring evening featuring artists from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company alongside students from the RWB School’s Professional and Recreational Divisions.
From breathtaking movement to joyful storytelling, each performance celebrates the artistry, creativity, and community spirit that make dance such a powerful shared experience.

Ballet in the Park is free and open to all.
We are committed to making this event as accessible and welcoming as possible, including:
- Accessible seating areas
- American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation
- On-site first aid and security support
- Family-friendly programming
Dance belongs to everyone, and we are proud to share this experience with our community.
What to Bring
To make the most of your evening, we recommend bringing:

As an outdoor event, Ballet in the Park is weather dependent. Should weather conditions require cancellation, updates will be shared through RWB communication channels.
