Joseph Dufty joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company as an Apprentice in 2025. He was promoted to the Corps de Ballet later that year and returns to the RWB as a Company Artist for the 2026/27 season.

Career highlights include Hansel in Hansel & Gretel, the Blue Bird Pas de Deux in Christopher Stowell’s The Sleeping Beauty, and Dwight Rhoden’s world premiere of Odyssey.

Born in Maitland, New South Wales, Australia, Joseph trained at the San Francisco Ballet School and performed with San Francisco Ballet in student, apprentice, and corps de ballet roles in productions including Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Manon. In 2022, he performed in the International Ballet Gala alongside principal artists from The Royal Ballet, The Royal New Zealand Ballet, and Stuttgart Ballet. He was also a member of the National Youth Ballet Company, performing in a triple bill choreographed by Graeme Murphy.
