Loughlan Prior’s Hansel & Gretel puts an irresistibly sweet spin on the Brothers Grimm fairytale with sprinklings with Vaudeville quirks, outlandish characters, and brilliant dancing.

As the witching hour approaches, brave Hansel and Gretel are lured by a devious witch into her Gingerbread House. Along the way we’ll meet an array of marvelous characters including the Sandman and his glimmering Dew Fairies, a delightful(ly twisted) Ice Cream Witch, and a sinister crew of bubblegum-pink gingerbread men. With playful twists on its familiar story, mouthwatering sets and costumes from Kate Hawley, and a jazzy original score by Claire Cowan, this ballet has the perfect recipe for an unforgettable experience.
