Bio

Logan Savard joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company as an Apprentice in 2021 after completing his training in the RWB School Professional Division. He was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2022 and made his stage debut with the Company in the 2021 mixed programme, Perpetual Motion. Notable roles include the Prince in Angelin Preljocaj’s Snow White, Tybalt in Rudi van Dantzig’s Romeo and Juliet, and Pas de Trois in RWB’s Swan Lake.

Born in Comox, British Columbia, Logan began dancing at the age of five at the Brian Kruse School of Dance and later trained at Pantuso Dance in Courtney, BC. In 2017, he was accepted into the RWB School Professional Division. As a student, Logan received the Prince Edward Award in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, won first place in the First Steps choreographic competition twice, and was awarded the McEwan Scholarship in 2020-2021. He also choreographed three pieces: Will He, Convex, and Undercurrents.

When not dancing, Logan enjoys fashion, music, biking around Winnipeg, and cooking. In future performances, he would love to perform in Romeo & Juliet, Jewels, and any works by Crystal Pite or William Forsythe.
