On Tour
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company tours for four to six weeks each year, captivating audiences worldwide; a testament to the innovation and artistry of our company. We are thrilled to launch three distinct tours during the 2025-26 Season across western and central Canada.
Past Tours
Our 2025–26 season also included a tour of Hansel & Gretel to the National Arts Centre in Ottawa; a cross-country tour of Nutcracker with stops in Regina, Saskatoon, Ottawa, and Vancouver; and a west coast tour of T’əl: The Wild Man of the Woods and Carmina Burana with stops in Powell River, Chilliwack, Vernon, Salt Spring Island, Courtenay, Nanaimo, and Vancouver.
Tour dates for the 2026–27 season will be announced at a later date.
Our History
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet has been touring across the world since 1945, including performances in 595 cities in 44 countries. We spend multiple weeks touring each year, showcasing our commitment to delivering world-class ballet – including bold, innovative new works – to diverse audiences worldwide, building a greater awareness and appreciation for Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

Touring & Rentals
We are proud to be one of Canada’s leading rental companies for classical and contemporary ballet. Our professional dance studio spaces are available for rent to visiting productions, including dance, film, and the local community. We also offer other companies opportunities to rent our productions, allowing them to bring world-class contemporary and classical ballets to their audiences.
