Bio

Taisi Tollasepp joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company as an Apprentice in 2023 after completing her training in the RWB School’s Professional Division Ballet Academic Program. She was promoted to the Corps de Ballet later that same year.

Notable roles for Taisi include Snow White in Angelin Preljocaj’s Snow White and Young Clara in Nutcracker.

Born in Toronto, Taisi began her training at Canada’s National Ballet School in the recreational program before moving to Winnipeg to train in the RWB School Professional Division, where she graduated with distinction.

Throughout her training, Taisi received several prestigious awards, including the Douglas & Elizabeth MacEwan Scholarship, Prince Edward Award, Evelyn Hart Scholarship, IG Wealth Management Scholarship, Arnold Spohr Scholarship, and Odette & Odile Scholarship.

When she’s not dancing, Taisi loves baking and traveling to experience different cultures. Taisi aspires to one day dance her dream role of Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, as she finds the role artistically and technically challenging.

The lithe dancer… crafts a flesh-and-blood heroine, walking a tightrope between Snow White’s girlish innocence and her smouldering sensuality
