Bio

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Jaimi Deleau began her ballet training at the age of three. She was accepted into the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional Division at 10, where her passion for dance truly blossomed. After completing the Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program, she joined the RWB Company in 2014 as an Apprentice. Her talent quickly earned her promotions to the Corps de Ballet in 2015, Second Soloist in 2021, and most recently to Soloist in 2022.

Jaimi has performed a variety of standout roles, including The Queen in Snow White, The Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz, La Gouleé in Moulin Rouge® – The Ballet. She also considers her hometown performance as the Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker as one of her most treasured career moments.

Outside the studio, Jaimi enjoys teaching in the RWB School’s Professional and Recreational Divisions, connecting with students who share her journey through the same program. When she’s not dancing, she loves spending time with her family, her fiancé, and her dog Luufi. Jaimi is also pursuing a part-time Kinesiology degree at university.
