Born in China, Yue Shi began studying ballet at the Liaoning Ballet School at the age of 10. Throughout his training, he has participated in many international ballet competitions and garnered several awards. Shi was invited to join the RWB School Aspirant Program when he competed at the Jackson International Ballet Competition, where RWB Artistic Director André Lewis was a member of the Jury. Shi joined the RWB Company as an Apprentice in 2015 and was promoted to Corps de Ballet during the Company’s 16/17 season.

Since joining the RWB Company, Yue Shi has danced the roles of Prince (Nutcracker), Pas de Deux (Giselle), and Jester (Swan Lake). In the beginning of 2017, Yue Shi guest performed the role of Prince in Sleeping Beauty with Sofia National Opera Ballet.
