An avid dancer since the age of four, Ms Brasko teaches the disciplines of tap and jazz at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. As a student at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, she received extensive training in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, and pointe. She also received training in tap, jazz and lyrical dance at other studios in Winnipeg and at dance conventions and workshops across Canada.

Ms. Brasko enjoys sharing the love of dance with her students. She has choreographed many pieces for the Manitoba Provincial Dance Festival, including numerous scholarship and award winning performances. She has choreographed and performed for local vocalist, Jackie Shaw, as well as has been a judge for the Red River Exhibition’s Kidz Quest Junior Talent Search. Ms. Brasko is currently the Assistant Entertainment Coordinator for the Czech & Slovak Pavilion at Winnipeg’s Folklorama.

Ms. Brasko is a competitive performer, with numerous competition awards to her credit. She placed first in tap and second in jazz at the 2001 Canadian Regional National Dance Championships, as well as was a top semi-finalist in the 2001 Stars of Tomorrow Red River Exhibition Talent Search. At the 2000 Triple Threat Dance Convention, she was awarded the title of Most Promising Performer. In 1998, she was recipient of the Dance Manitoba Senior Tap Scholarship. Ms. Brasko has also completed numerous dance exams amongst the highest levels under the ADAPT syllabus.

In addition to her dance training, Ms. Brasko holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology, as well as a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba.
