Intensive Summer Training
Dance Intensive offers students the opportunity to strengthen their technique and develop their artistry in an intensive environment. This is a unique opportunity to share a campus with the RWB Company’s professional ballet dancers and train with the world-renowned RWB School artistic faculty and talented guest teachers.
With ballet at the program’s core, dancers will also explore a variety of disciplines and learn original choreography during the day and experience local Winnipeg attractions and activities in the evenings and on weekends. This program will help dancers start the season off right in September.
A fully immersive experience is available for participants who wish to stay in our modern Student Living Centre.
Early bird offer: save $100 on tuition! Registration must be received by March 25 to qualify. Offer only valid if paying in full. Apply by March 20 to allow for artistic review.

Program Details
Classes are held daily, Monday to Saturday, beginning with a ballet class, followed by a rotating schedule of various dance disciplines, including but not limited to pointe, conditioning, repertoire / choreography, modern / contemporary, jazz and character. Discipline offerings are dependent on artistic faculty as well as student age and level.
The two-week program culminates with a final demonstration in the RWB Founder’s Studio, our onsite theatre.
Accommodations
The Student Living Centre connects to the RWB studios through an enclosed and secure passageway. Supervised by our team of student life and care professionals, dancers staying in the Student Living Centre enjoy private and semi-private rooms, access to dance studios, a fully staffed kitchen, recreation spaces, and a welcoming outdoor greenspace. It offers a safe and immersive opportunity for dancers looking for the professional training experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Applications will be reviewed by RWB artistic faculty within two weeks of submission. Upon acceptance to the program, applicants will receive a link to complete their registration, along with complete pricing and payment plan options.
Pricing for Dance Intensive begins at $1099. Additional costs will apply when staying in the Student Living Centre, to purchase a meal plan or to participate in evening and weekend activities.
