Campus & Facilities
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet Studios are home to both the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.
Located in historic downtown Winnipeg, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School enjoys a state-of-the-art facility designed and built specifically for dance, with 12 spacious, sprung-floor studios, including a 224-seat performance space.
Students are invited to Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company open rehearsals and may observe the Company in class and rehearsal throughout the day from a third floor observatory.
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Residence is a safe, supportive environment for young artists as they pursue their goals in dance. It provides permanent housing during the school year for up to 60 students and is linked directly to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Studios to ensure convenient access. Medical support is provided by a talented team of professionals and overseen by Dr. Brian Lukie, M.D., a physician specializing in dance and sport medicine. Physiotherapy and massage services are available on site and a Nutrition Consultant (RD), Performance Enhancement Consultant and Student Care Counsellor are available to support and counsel students one-on-one.
