Professional Division Summer Session
RWB’s Professional Division Summer Session is considered the second stage of a two stage audition process for entry into RWB’s Professional Division Ballet Academic Program. Students complete intensive work in ballet and pointe technique and, depending on their level, pas de deux and variations. In addition to classical training, students receive a comprehensive education in character dance and modern dance. The curriculum is augmented by classes in historical dance, conditioning, music, repertoire, Spanish dance, improvisation, choreography, visual art, dance history, creative movement, nutrition, performance enhancement, and strength-training for male students.

“I recommend without hesitation the RWB School Professional Division Summer Session to any parent whose child is seriously interested in dance. This facility offers world class training in an open and inviting atmosphere, where we as parents feel welcome. I appreciate the opportunity to observe classes and find the artistic faculty very approachable. Our son has been attending summer school for 4 years and, aside from the daily ballet classes, he really enjoys meeting other boys who dance and share some of the same interests. I have to mention that, for him, the variety of great lunches served at the school residence is also one of the highlights.” - Monique Lavoie, Professional Division Parent
