2017-18 RD Registration
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School is pleased to announce that we are once again offering appointments for Recreational Division registration!
Registration will run from June 21 – 24 and June 26 – 29, 2017. We have a guaranteed appointment slot for each of our returning students. All students must have a confirmed appointment in order to register during the registration period.
You will be asked to book the time that is most convenient to you, and then visit the RWB Building at 380 Graham Avenue just 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. As always, you’ll have an opportunity to meet with both artistic and administrative staff and your appointment will last approximately 15 minutes per student.
Returning students had exclusive access to book appointment from May 9-22, 2017. Appointments are still available but have been open to the general public since Tuesday, May 23, 2017. All appointments will be booked on a first come, first served basis. Classes are subject to availability.
Booking an appointment is a simple, 4 step process:
1) Go to www.rwb.org/register (If you are experiencing technical difficulties, you may also access the appointment booking system at www.schoolinterviews.ca/code.)
2) Enter in the exclusive access code for returning students: RWB77
3) Enter your name and contact information, along with the names of each student you wish to register.
4) Select the appointment(s) most convenient to you. Each student requires one appointment slot. It is advantageous for families to select consecutive appointments. If you have more than 4 students in your family, you require only 4 appointment slots – we will be able to register families of 4+ students within one hour. After scheduling your appointment(s), you will receive an email confirmation for your registration time. This email will provide instruction on rescheduling or cancelling your appointment if necessary. Please mark your appointment in your calendar and hold onto your confirmation email! In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to complete your registration paperwork ahead of time to save you time during the registration process.
Although we are not able to book, cancel, or reschedule your appointment over the phone, the School Office staff would be pleased to assist with any of your questions or concerns.
The appointment system was very well received in the past and our hope is to continue to build on this success in 2017. If you have any feedback that would help us to improve this service, please email Tali Sitschkar, Recreational Division Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you this spring!

Call For Volunteers for Ballet In the Park
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet is looking for volunteers to assist with Ballet in the Park—an annual summer favorite! Company dancers, as well as Recreational and Professional Division students, will perform at the Lyric Theatre in Assiniboine Park from July 27-29.
Volunteers will be expected to arrive one hour prior to the performance and help with seating and reference to the downloadable PDF program, assist in the Pass the Slipper donation collection.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and pizza!
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Nicki Kirton at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please consider a donation to the Recreational Division Opportunity Fund!
Do you have a favourite dance teacher? Thank them for a wonderful year of dance by making a donation to the RD Opportunity Fund in their honour. We will contact your favourite teacher and let them know that you have made a donation (but keep the donation amount confidential).
The RD Opportunity Fund provides aspiring young artists with access to dance lessons at the RWB School Recreation Division. Without the financial assistance provided by the Fund, some cannot otherwise afford to take classes. Funding is allocated to individual students via application process in which the fulfilment of financial aid requirements are determined.
Please make your gift as we pass the slipper during Spectrum performances or contact Madison Harding, School Development Officer of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet at 204-957-3442 or email@example.com. Donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt.
Have a Safe and Enjoyable Summer
On behalf of everyone at the RWB, we hope all of our students and their families have a safe and enjoyable summer, and we look forward to another exciting and successful season of dance in 2017 – 18!
