A curious turn of events unexpectedly brings a talented young dancer to Wonderland!  Harrison James joins the Company of Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet in the fall of 2010. Young, fresh, quirky, innovative, hard-working and a beautiful mover, Harrison is just the sort of dancer choreographer Shawn Hounsell is looking for. But this is Harrison's first time being a part of the creative process. Is he up to the challenge?

 In October 2010, inspiration yields fifty costume sketches in one weekend ... think 1950s showgirls with flamingo headdresses and a dash of contemporary haute couture! Wonderland choreographer Shawn Hounsell and Costume Designer Anne Armit discuss the designs for RWB's newest creation and the unconventional aspects of their creative process.
