Yesterday, a group of children ages 6-12 years old from the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba (IRCOM) participated in a special dance class at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. The class was taught by RWB School instructor Claire Marshall and was accompanied by Mark Cameron.
IRCOM is a non-profit organization that provides transitional housing and delivers social programming to newly arrived refugees and immigrants to Canada. During the summer it runs an activity program for their clients, providing a wide array of activities. The RWB School was pleased to share our love of dance and reach out to this community.
