A summer tradition since the 1970s, Ballet in the Park, Presented by Manitoba Lotteries, attracts thousands of Manitobans and tourists to RWB's free performances in Assiniboine Park. Sitting on a lawn chair or blanket on the grass, this is a relaxed way to take in ballet with your family and friends. For many who have never seen ballet, this is a great introduction to the art form in a picturesque setting.

Come enjoy beautiful dance including two performances from the RWB School Professional Division students as well as the Recreational Division. Enjoy the nice weather, in beautiful Assiniboine Park on opening night of Winnipeg's summer dance tradition! 

“Ballet in the Park is our way of saying thank you to a community that supports us,” says RWB Artistic Director André Lewis. “We could not ask for a better setting to share our love of dance and to showcase the passion, dedication and talent of our dancers and students.”

Shows begin nightly at 7:30 pm at The Lyric Theatre.
