Bio
Felix Jinga joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company as an Apprentice in 2023, after training in the RWB School Professional Division’s Ballet Academic Program and the Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program.
As an Aspirant, Felix performed lead roles in the RWB School’s On the Edge in La Bayadère and Laurencia.
Originally from London, Ontario, Felix began dancing at the age of five at the Victoria Carter London Dance Center. He then trained in the RWB School’s Professional Division, followed by the School’s Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program with Stéphane Léonard and Alexander Gamayunov, among other esteemed faculty members. In his time in the RWB School’s Ballet Academic Program, Felix was awarded the prestigious Arnold Spohr award.
Felix hopes to one day dance the role of Spartacus in Spartacus and enjoys dancing in story ballets as he gets to bring life into these roles and captivate the audience.
